Hoover Dam is a concrete gravity- arch dam located in the Black Canyon of the river Colorado, located on the border between the states of Nevada and Arizona. This dam formerly known as Boulder Dam and to eventually renamed Hoover Dam. Hoover Dam itself was built between 1931 and 1936, involving thousands of workers and cost more than a hundred people.
