Antelope Canyon is a canyon that is very popular in the world, located in Page, Coconino County, Arizona, United States. Antelope Canyon area is entered into the complex region of the Navajo Indian Reservation, which is the area's largest shelter for Dine Indian tribes of North America, which is often called Navaho or Navajo.
Beginning Antelope Canyon was formed by erosion of Navajo sand rocks, primarily due to flash floods and then undergo a process of sub-aerial. Rainwater, especially when the monsoon season, flows into the basin extends over part of the canyon gap, which grow faster and reproduce the sand when water eroded into the path of narrow passageways. The recent floods in this area occurred on October 30, 2006 that lasted 36 hours, thereby causing Parks Authority Antelope Canyon Tribal shut Down for several months.
Until now Antelope Canyon is very popular as one of the sights of interest to photographers and eyewash.
