The Gorges du Verdon is located in the south-east of France (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), is a river gorge and is often called the most beautiful canyons which are in Europe. The Gorges Du Verdon has a length of approximately 25 kilometers and a depth of up to 700 meters. This canyon was formed by the Verdon, called turquoise-green color of the river as the characteristics of the site and the center of attention of the tourists. The most impressive part in Gorges Du Verdon is located between the cities of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and Castellane, where the river has cut ravines and gorges make a very beautiful shape.
Du Verdon gorges are very popular and became a travel destination of tourists. here we can get around the rim, climb, kayak rental for trips on the river.
